When eight year old Corbin took his collection of bottles to “Return and Earn” at his local reverse vending machine, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with the money – donate it to help sick kids and their families who need Ronald McDonald House. Corbinwould usually visit the children at the House throughout the year, but this year hasn’t been able. So he thought this was a great way he could still help out. In total, he collected 390 of cans, which took him 6 weeks. His mum Naomi said “Ronald McDonald House is close to our family’s heart. I’m so proud of Corbin for thinking of other kids and their families and donating his money to where it is needed most.”
The team at NCP have also taken the opportunity to collect bottles in their workplace to help Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW. Sales Manager David said, “we’ve been supporting the charity for several years and collecting the bottles to ‘Return and Earn’ is another effortless way for our staff and our business to help out.”
