McDonald’s stores across Newcastle, Hunter, Mid-North Coast, Upper Hunter, and New England North West regions, who during September sold ‘Helping Bikes’ in-store to support Ride for Sick Kids. They sold an amazing 33,492 bikes which means 496 nights’ accommodation is covered for families.

With many of our fundraising activities being impacted, we are so grateful to our community who have stepped in to help keep the lights on for our families.

As Education Week is celebrated across NSW we realise now, more than ever, the importance of schools in our community. The theme of ‘Learning Together’ typifies the year that has been for students, teachers and parents as we have navigated new ways of teaching and learning.
The Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation recently awarded a significant grant which will allow the upgrade and renovation of 3 of the 6 units at Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle.
Thanks to 'The Perm' for making this possible and giving families with a seriously ill child a "home away from home".

In its fifth year, le Tour de Taree brings together Club Taree’s team, their Members and the broader community cycling on spin bikes in the club and community aiming to mirror the le Tour de France’s distance of 3,460km and dates, fundraising for RMHC.
