Retreat Golf Day Hits a New High
On Friday 27th October, 150 players tee'd off for the Ronald McDonald Family Retreat Forster Annual Charity Golf Day at the beautiful Forster Golf Course.
This year’s Charity Golf Day was a sell out and our most successful event to date. View some of the images below to see what a great day was had.
The massive success of the day means that more families with a sick or injured child will have the opportunity to de-stress and take a much needed break. A time to come together for a family holiday in the calm and relaxing setting of Forster, far from the hospital environment.
Without the ongoing support of many local businesses and individuals, including everyone involved with the Charity Golf Day, we would not be able to continue to provide so many families with this much needed and special break. By the end of 2017 we expect to see over 180 families relax and reconnect at the Forster Retreat. And even more families are expected in 2018.
A special thanks must go to TJL Business Advisors & Accountants who have been huge supporters of the Retreat and our Charity Golf Day Event Partner for the past 3 years and will be back again in 2018.
