Making a beautiful difference

The volunteers are indeed the heart of RMHC Northern NSW. They contribute to helping us achieve our mission to support the ever-changing needs of families with seriously ill or injured children.

Even before the doors of Ronald McDonald House, Newcastle, the first program in our region, opened, our volunteers have been by our side.  And as we continued to provide more support to families across the Northern NSW region with the addition of new programs, like our Family Rooms in Gosford & Newcastle, the Family Retreat, our House in Tamworth and the Learning Program - members of the community have stepped forward to volunteer and lend a hand.  Each and every one of them making a beautiful difference for families.

National Volunteer Week was held from 18 May – 24 May.  Normally a celebration where we gather and recognise the valuable contribution each of our volunteers makes. Changing communities. Changing lives.

These are but a few of the faces of the people from across Northern NSW who are the heart of what we do.
