Meet Aaliyah

Aaliyah was taken to Hospital after eating a battery.  It looked like surgery was on the cards. Luckily, after a few days waiting and a last ditch attempt with a home remedy of prune juice, the battery finally passed and Aaliyah was given the all clear.

Aaliyah and her whole family spent lots of time in the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Gosford while they were waiting.

While we loved having Aaliyah visit us, we’d prefer she sticks to her fruit and veggies, and only visits us again when she’s well!

‘We and our extended family always felt welcome and included in the
Ronald McDonald Family Room. Aaliyah said that she’s going to eat another
